Romantic, secluded cottage in Cardinham Woods, Cornwall

Very quiet and great location for North and South Cornwall.

Loved this cute Goat House. Polly and Marc were very welcoming. Bbq on the rear decking each evening was a delight. Location was remote, as described, which was perfect for us. Proximity to nature, sublime solitude.

Nothing to dislike

Cute little cottage, had everything we needed. Beautiful location. The deck at the back was perfect for sitting and and watching the wild life, even bats in the evening. The only sound was that of the breeze in the yes, the nearby steam and the wildlife.... perfect!

Nothing was really bad. If I have to put something I'd say that the shower pressure incredibly was low. Hot water set too high so a bit dangerous when washing dishes. No phone signal or mobile Internet but the cottage has free Internet which allows Internet phone calls

Host very approachable and would instantly answer my texts with no delay. Host Polly met me on my arrival. Was friendly and explained everything clearly. Compact house, fully equipped, clean, quiet, had all I needed for my stay (fridge, hob/oven/ toaster/ coffee machine, kettle, all kitchen wear, salt, pepper, oil, coffee pods, tea bags, towels, toilet paper, hand soap (bring your own shower gel and shampoo). Small wardrobe with hangers, plenty of drawers, working Netflix, good WIFI signal, comfy bed, plenty of pillows and blankets. Good toilet flushing system :) Adjustable heating. Plenty of board games. Leaflets with necessary info about the location and visit places. Welcome hamper (local eggs, milk, crisps and brownies). Thank you!!! Roof deck with BBQ which I didn't use. Allocated car parking space.

First couple of nights it was really cold outside and front door is not fully insulated, with big gaps, where wind was really coming into the house. But I had a good heating on and many blankets :)

Lovely little place , had everything we needed for our stay. Quiet, comfortable, tucked away in the middle of Cardinham woods. Plenty of beautiful walking trails to choose from Host was very welcoming, left fresh eggs milk and cakes for us which was a lovely gesture!

Quaint…beautiful little love nest at the bottom of Cardinham woods.. Very clean & tidy.. With fresh filtered Cornish water sourced from the local stream..& freshly laid eggs.. Doesn’t get any better than this little Romantic Hideaway… Polly & Mark were very welcoming…& left us a lovely welcoming pack of fresh milk..Cornish fudge & lots of other goodies.. 10/10…. Thank you very much.. Matt & Olivia…🤍
