Flat 4 The Gables Lyme Regis with free parking

Brilliant central location, very close to the front, Marine Theatre etc. There were comprehensive facilities (including a DVD player, unusually these days) and equipment. The flat had good space and cosy, quirky layout and decor.

The mattress of the bed was a bit squeaky, and the warring seagulls woke us up one morning but there's nothing much that can be done about that given the proximity of the property to the sea! It was great having free parking in such a central location but a word of warning: the parking is in a garage round the corner from the house and it is not very big. We managed to squeeze our VW Tiguan into it but I'm not sure you could get anything bigger to fit. You cannot leave the car in front of the garage either.

Loved the quirky little apartment, it had everything we needed & was really close to the shops, beach & bars. Great that it had parking too

We liked everything!! Only slight flaw was it was a cold weekend & the windows were a bit drafty when we sat on the sofa to relax.

It was a great apartment for a couple. Very clean and well equipped. The owner responded immediately when I needed help with the central heating. It was cosy and a lovely place to come back to after a day’s walking. It was a super location…minutes walk from restaurants, pubs and shops.

A bigger double bed would have been welcome.

Perfect location, cosy and as a solo traveler felt safe . Fantastic shower and super comfortable bed. Well equipped and was just so homey i just didn’t want to leave. Great communication with owner and she is super helpful. Planning next trip!

Spotlessly clean and superbly located. The garage parking was a real advantage (you might struggle with a large car) Thoroughly recommend.

Location, facilities and cleanliness

The apartment was nice and cosy, well appointed with good strong wifi and the bonus of car parking (although garage access is a little tight for larger cars). .
