Amberleigh House Annex

Very Straightforward. Lorraine met myself at the front door and also kindly enough allowed me to Check-in at 2pm, I was given a tour of the Annex and discussed the process for checking out etc. Fantastic!

This will be the best review I have ever left on Booking.com. We are already planning a return visit to Amberleigh House next year. The apartment was very well located for the trip we were making and the towns we wanted to visit, since Ely, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Saffron Walden and Lavenham are all within a 30 minute drive. Lorraine was a delightful hostess and had set the apartment up beautifully - even leaving a small jar of chocolates to supplement the basics she put in the fridge. The bed, the kitchen, the wifi, the shower were perfect, and the apartment was spotless.

Of all the towns we visited, Newmarket had the least to offer - we have no interest in horses or horse racing - but it served as an ideal base.

Well laid out with plenty of space. Provision of breakfast supplies. Quiet and peaceful. Friendly and welcoming host.

Sofa a little uncomfortable (too soft) and TV too high on wall.
