"Very enjoyable stay in a fantastic location"

The location was superb , overlooking the Royal Mile so really easy to walk everywhere.Tea ,coffee ,some toiletries were provided to get us started which was great .The letting agents were very friendly and facilitated us with an early check in which was really helpful after a very early flight .

The stairs upto the second floor ,spiral were not for the faint hearted . Everything else was as advertised

Excellent location, overlooking the top-end of the Royal Mile. Very clean and well furnished small modern apartment - and that is an achievement in what probably was (I'm no historian!) an 18th century dwelling. I think the flexibility of self-catering helped us enjoy our stay in Edinburgh far more than if we had been at the hotel we were originally thinking of staying (at similar price) However, not one for people that can't climb steps!

I would have liked not to pay the extra "breakages" deposit the day before we arrived - that came as a surprise and not something I've ever done with self-catering apartments before. We didn't break anything, take anything or otherwise cause disturbance, but because I'm writing this the day before the deposit is supposed to be repaid - I'm taking it on trust that they will repay in full... Sofa bed in lounge was fine for our 9 y.o. daughter - but wouldn't recommend for an adult.

"Perfect!"

The location was literally two minutes from our conference venue. The owners were so helpful and quick to answer queries. The flat had everything we needed,.... and more! Comfy and cosy.

We did struggle with the stairs due to health issues, but we knew that would be the case before we arrived,.... so, no complaint there. The age and beautiful design of the buildings wouldn't allow for more accessible access. Wouldn't stop us recommending it highly to friends and colleagues.

"It provided us with what we needed, but wasn't special."

The proximity to sights in Edinburgh was excellent. The price was also reasonable. The kitchen was very nice and we appreciated having a washing machine in our flat.

The flat was much smaller than anticipated from the online photos. It was also looking a bit rundown -- dings in the walls, in need of fresh paint and the couch was very uncomfortable.
