The Borough Apartment

Flat Five was perfect. I will book it again on another occasion and recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located, well-appointed, sunny, clean and comfortable place to sleep, to prepare their own meals and to have central Canterbury on their doorstep. I would happily stay there for an extended period. We were two, but four people would not be cramped. Thank you for the friendly welcome and for responding promptly to my questions beforehand.

One of the bedroom door handles didn't work so someone could have got stuck without being able to get out of the room.

Very cosy and perfect central location. Also dog friendly and went out of the way to cater for me being gluten free

Amazing location. Right by all the shops, bars and restaurants etc. The restaurant downstairs is simply perfect. Had a steak that'll live in my memory for a very long time it was that good. Mario was helpful and always on hand if we had an issue. Highly recommended

The location was best for me. They had a corner store right besides it.

Very close to the street, which was VERY noisy on Friday & Saturday nights till 2 am at least, making it impossible to sleep.

Excellent location. Apart from TV and WiFi the facilities were excellent. Clean. Comfortable.

The toilet seat was loose, with an ouchie back that wasn't great. The shower was weak. The bath taps went to very hot in a second, and the taps themselves got very hot and were very stiff (had to use a towel to turn off) Wifi was awful (more than one device, and it couldn't cope). TV ariel had a bad connection, so I had to use Internet apps. None of this would stop me from staying again. Note to others, the flat is on the first floor, and the steps are narrow and quite steep.
