Extremely clean and well equipped. Loved the lights, have never seen anything like them before

Was very hot without the ability to moderate the heat. Ended up having to have the windows open but was still pretty hot up there.

Myself, brother and sister in law travelled here from Southampton to attend a family wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn. Being a short drive from the venue was ideal. The property is also a short walk from a lake, which was a nice thing to do after a long drive the day before.

TOILET PAPER AND OTHER ESSENTIALS NOT SUPPLIED We arrived around 7pm on a Friday after a long 6 hour drive. Unfortunately the property doesn't supply any toilet paper so we had to head back out in the dark and the rain to find a shop that was open. There's also no washing up liquid or bathroom hand soap supplied. For the latter shower gel is supplied so we used that. We didn't think to bring these items for a 'high-end deluxe apartment' so worth noting here for future guests. There were also no pillows supplied for the sofa bed, just a duvet and sheet, which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep for me. My brother and sister in law did say that the bedroom has a nice comfortable bed though. Worth noting that the latch is missing from the main entrance to the building door (pic attached) so you need to take the key each time you exit the property. Initially thought this was a fire hazard but there is a Break Glass Key Box provided at the entrance. All in all good location and nice little town. Ideal for a couple but I think the apartment is a bit of a stretch to sleep four adults comfortably (two adults two kids would be fine). A few small improvements needed, would be nice if the property provided essentials to give it the 'high-end luxury apartment' title.

Great apartment, very nicely furnished with everything we needed, comfortable bed with lovely bedding, nice shower, good tv & wifi. Convenient central location.

Lovely, clean and bright apartment.

Wish there was a note to say about the £200 deposit before booking - it was not a problem but some pre warning would be appreciated.
