The Walnut Suite lovely one bedroom flat in Stoke.

The flat had everything you needed. It was conveniently located

Parking was difficult

Very well equipped kitchen and bathroom

Nothing

Comfy mattress, wifi

Not clean. Bed against the wall not practical, with the board at the base you had to wriggle down and climb over the end! Pillows on bed were smelly, no pillow protectors. Feet were filthy walking around barefoot. Freezer dirty, Bin dirty, back of microwave dirty, extraction fan grubby, shower door roller fixing dirty, shower had hairs in, didn't use it! Floor grubby along shower tray. Gas fixture in bedroom floor is dangerous. Hand towel in bathroom, was grubby. Annoying light in bathroom could not be turned off so if used in the night it stayed on for 3 or 4 minutes. Light in bedroom ceiling shone yellow upon movement which glowed the room up, really odd what that was about? Looked like a wifi modem? The flat had an overpowering air freshener which we turned off as it was too much for such a small room, then a stale cigarette smell came through? Luckily this was just a base to sleep whilst visiting our Son in a few roads away, so we didn't spend much time here, gladly. Please just give it a DEEP clean between guests, it's not hard!

The apartment had everything you need including WiFi Netflix, clean, good shower and fully functioning kitchen. The price was just right for my trip.

I did not like that a motion-sensing light would turn on when I rolled over in bed. Also when entering the bathroom at night a very bright light would switch on and I could not over-ride this. I asked the host if he could alter it but - despite being an electrical engineer as a profession - he could not vary this.. This matters to me because the bright light makes it harder to get back to sleep

Lovely place so close to city centre

Great cosy little place

Lovely welcoming flat, very helpful hosts nothing was too much trouble, have stayed before and will stay again. Great Location for visiting Plymouth.
