"It was very close to a myriad of restaurants and coffee shops and a grocery store."

Excellent location Very comfortable bed

Rather worn, bathroom floor around the toilet is deteriorating, inside bathroom door handle is loose with missing and falling out screws, the code we were given to get the key was wrong. Trying to reach the owner was difficult as we had no wifi outside the door. So getting into the apt after a full day of travel was awkward and frustrating. We should have been given all the necessary directions 24 hours in advance when we could access them.

Great location, 13 min walk from Waverley station and right next to grassmarket square. Beautiful view of the castle right outside and the host gave us all the info we needed and let us leave our luggage in the apartment while they were cleaning.

We chose this place because it has 2 beds, but the futon was extremely hard. The shower had low water pressure and there is some damage on the bathroom floor. It is a bit moist/hot in the apartment with no fans and you can’t leave the window open at night because of the noise. For the price I expected better facilities
