The Potting Shed

Very cosy retreat. Lovely private outdoor sitting area with a choice of seating & view of Torrington & surrounding fields. Comfortable bed & modern shower room. The combi oven was interesting to use & cooked well.

A little more attention to dusting the cobwebs away is needed. I know it's in the countryside but there was a large one under one of the indoor dining chairs.

Beautiful location, quiet, scenic. A piece of history. Very well appointed cottage conversion. Comfortable bed, good shower with lovely consumables. Charming private garden space with amazing views and secure parking for our car.

No dislikes at all.

Very easy check in and directions

We were very welcomed by a cooled bottle of prosecco, fresh flowers and a candy sweet.

Mary's communication throughout was great and her instructions for access were spot on. The space is cosy and beautifully presented and Mary and Mark were so helpful. I loved staying here. Even a bottle of prosecco for me in the fridge. Amazing.

Nothing about the venue. The location is a little tricky for someone without a car but this is not the fault of the venue - more the nature of Devon really. I visited RHS Rosemoor and taxis to and from are not easily obtained. I managed to get transport in the end through the kindness of locals.

Very private accommodation. Very clean and well presented. All the kitchen essentials, including a tin opener, instruction books for using the equipment. Private garden space with a lovely view. Comfortable bed.

Neither the main house nor the Potting Shed are signed from the road. The sat nav directs you to another house also not signed from the road. The owner explained the reasons. There is a red post box at the top of the access track which could be used to identify it.
