"A snug little bolt-hole"

A lovely little 'bolt hole' in a fabulous location. Unfortunately we went for a 'spring break' but had a dreadful week of cold winter weather including snow, sleet and rain. However, the log burner turns it in to a lovely warm and snug little cottage. Mary and Mark are very kind and welcoming and we'd love to return to sample the place in warmer weather!

Beautifully appointed Porting Shed - cosy and warm for a winter break. Really look forward to coming back in the summer too to make use of the terrace with the fabulous views!

Nothing critical to say- really impressed by the all round attention to detail.

"lovely little retreat which I would go back to now I know where it is & perfect for me visiting family as was hardly"

it was very peaceful & lovely location, clean & comfortable Prosecco in the fridge was a nice touch & well received after a 6 hour drive

no sign posts from the road & difficult to find in the dark as down a farm track with large pot holes. no lights at entrance gate & would not have known where to find the accommodation of owner had not got home about 10 minutes after I arrived. it’s well hidden at the bottom of the garden & no signpost & inadequate lighting for the path & twisted my ankle on the steps as no lights at the front door

Cosy & comfortable. Fabulous views out over the valley & towards Great Torrington. Wonderfully quiet & great location to branch out to various locations. Warm & welcoming with all the facilities you'd expect. Definitely recommend.

"Lovely quiet private rural accommodation."

Location excellent for Tarka Trail, well equipped and appointed, good shower, dressing gowns & slippers provided, comfortable bed, spacious outdoor environment with seating, prosecco & chocolates appreciated.

Bedroom rather small, fridge difficult to access, minor points, overall very pleased with accommodation.

"Lovely Mini Break close to Rosemoor RHS Gardens."

Lovely peaceful location with a private seating area overlooking an amazing view. The Potting Shed has been beautifully renovated into a special place to stay. Thoughtfully kitted out with quality fixtures and fittings. It was a joy to stay there. It is so close to Rosemoor RHS gardens, which was our reason to stay. We were there Saturday to Monday, a perfect mini break.
