Thornes Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at thornes cottage. Sam and Adrian were so helpful even before we arrived. When we got there, there were some biscuits, crisps and milk left for us which was a lovely touch. The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need! It smelt great and was absolutely immaculate. The location is good, not too far from the centre of Huddersfield but very quiet. We felt safe where it’s located and didn’t have any noise disturbances. It was easy to find and we liked that there was a specific parking space for guests. I would definitely stay here again. We kept thinking this would be a perfect place for us to live!

Gorgeous cottage with a lovely welcome gift! Perfect to come back to such an cosy place after a long day in an unfamiliar area! Can’t wait to return for the next few weeks :)

Communication from the hosts was prompt, clear and friendly. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, situated in a quiet close, but easily accessible from the main road. There was a bridleway nearby which offered a nice walk from the door. The kitchen was well-equipped, there was a lovely little outside seating area and the bedroom was spacious, nicely furnished and had a comfortable bed.

Fabulous little self contained cottage and so spotless. It was beautifully decorated and had everything you need to self cater. Owners are very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. You can always tell when owners take pride in their holiday rental and the service they provide. we just loved this country accommodation. Sam even put our ice blocks in her freezer (they live next door) as the fridge does not have a freezer compartment. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

The location was perfect as it was our son’s wedding and it was approximately 10 mins from the church and reception location

Just had a bit of a struggle getting the key out of the fob on the wall but it was sorted out very quickly by the host’s family

Really quiet relaxing place well thought out facilities all excellent and well fitted out with the bits and pieces you might require.welcoming message on a little blackboard to greet me and some welcoming treats ,all lovely thoughtful extras. Lovely comfortable bed and bedding ,really good shower room. Storeroom well supplied should you require anything
