Clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped, in a great location and steeped in history... we really couldn't fault it. A truly unique place to stay.. we loved it.

There really was nothing not to like about it.

Fantastic flat in perfect location situated above one of the entrances to the Cathedral Close. It borders the main road, but we were not seriously bothered by noise or traffic. Tastefully furnished and generally well-equipped. Splendid view of cathedral from main bedroom. Lovely walk to cloisters and cathedral entrance. Very close to shops, restaurants and other places of interest.

Obtaining the keys was difficult, and this has been commented upon by other reviewers. It is very hard to open the key box as it is right next to a wall. We hope the owners might change this as it is clearly a problem. We also reported the fact that the kitchen would benefit from a few more items - utensils, dishes, oven glove, etc. But this was a minor inconvenience, and should not put anyone off booking this excellent property. It should also be noted that the property is not suitable for anyone with disabilities. There is a narrow entrance and staircase, and several different levels within the apartment.

Liked the location and spacious rooms

Would have been good to know about what to do with our rubbish, that is bottles and cans.

The lounge very spacious and beautifully decorated and furnished as was the main bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped.

The bathroom was tiny and the mirror was too high so we couldn’t see in it. Access from the white door in the wall to the main front door needs to be cleaned up as it gives a poor first impression. The second bedroom overlooked the Main Street and there was a lot of noise from about 6 am form lorries etc unloading to the shops.

Sorry but while location brilliant and beds comfortable plus apartment a good size etc we had to contact hosts re cleaning as beneath sofa cushions had crumbs not cleaned and even packet of love hearts found! Ice cubes in freezer compartment of fridge/freezer frozen up and bin in kitchen dirty below black bin liner and duvet on main bed was stained. Can’t fault Admin team who responded to complaints very quickly within less than 24hrs but disappointed with discovering how accommodation had not been cleaned properly as superb property, amenities and location. Cleanliness next to godliness not met.
