The Hideout

Anderby Creek is one of our favourite beaches so to find a lovely flat right next to it is wonderful. The flat is warm and comfortable with everything you might need. Beds are super comfy and the sofa bed was good too. Rooms are spacious so the space works for up to 5 people well. The cafe downstairs is great and I wish we'd sampled the lunch menu during our stay as well as just going for breakfast when we checked out - next time :)

Communication with the hosts before arrival was v poor and had me a little concerned, but once we arrived I was put at ease as they were super friendly and helpful. I would have liked to have a sheet for the sofa bed, particularly as the sofa is a little stained (perhaps from previous doggos getting comfy?). There's occasionally a loud hum that vibrates throughout the living area from a generator or fan downstairs in the cafe but fortunately it didn't stay on for too long. It's only because it was raining that we were in during the day for longer than we might ordinarily have been.

Bright, clean, super spacious and comfortable; a perfect combination of mod cons (built in sound system, stunning shower, heated bathroom mirror etc…) and classic seaside features. Literally could not be closer to the beach - we actually timed it and it took 30 seconds to walk from the door! (See photo below of beach access path taken from bedroom window…) Really handy having the cafe downstairs - ice cream and hot chocolates were favourites.

Hmm…. I’d have to think very hard! Maybe the sound of barking dogs but that’s hardly their fault…

The Hideout is the perfect place for us and our dogs the spacious living area gives loads of room for the dogs to chill after a long walk on the beach Having a smart tv makes life good for streaming your favourite shows The location is so perfect you couldn’t be closer to the beach and walks The bed is so comfortable giving a restful nights sleep Harry was really friendly and helpful and the dogs enjoyed their doggy ice cream I had cider and my husband cappuccino all perfect been downstairs in the beach cafe This is our second stay and we will definitely be returning

We loved the space, the layout, the epic shower and the very short walk to the beach. The apartment is very quiet yet doesn't feel isolated. We stayed in January and managed to visit most of the beaches between Chapel and Mablethorpe - many of which were beautifully quiet.

Needed a bit more crockery and cutlery so we didn’t have to wash up all the time !
