The Hideout

It was perfect for a weekend getaway. Step out and you’re on the beach. Lovely for walks and a hidden gem as the area is quiet and peaceful! But if needed more life plenty within 20 minutes. Apartment had everything you needed. Was clean and comfortable. We had a slight issue but was sorted straight away.

The only thing I would have said was we could not get a taxi to go further afield in the evening, and the main club/bar was shut? but I believe that was because one of the roads was shut and also was just out of season. Saying that we managed with the local tavern and food delivery service .

Spacious, clean and contemporary apartment. Comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic location for the beautiful beach. Great cafe downstairs.

Gorgeous flat, with a very convenient cafe downstairs. The shower was particularly welcome after a long walk on the beach to Chapel St Leonards.

Couldn’t fault it. Had to ask for the wifi code but the team obliged. Although the flat and cafe were great, and the proximity to the wonderful Anderby beach was perfect for a short stay, there wasn’t much else to do in the village.

Perfect location, a stones throw from the beach front. The apartment had everything needed for our weekend break, was beautifully decorated and much bigger than the pictures too. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The property needed touching up in areas. Paint pealing of walls, wooden floor lifting in places and when using the oven the tray was dirty and needed washing.

It was so clean and spacious, the food at the cafe is exceptional. And staff very nice talkative always smiling.

The apartment is modern, airy and very spacious. Comfortable, large beds with great storage in each bedroom. The property was very peaceful at night as the car park opposite doesn't allow cars between 10pm and 6am. You do get a private parking space at the rear of the apartment for 1 car which is very useful, especially during busy periods. The beach is literally on the doorstep and the beach itself is lovely and clean and dog friendly. We ate 3 times at the dog friendly cafe below the apartment. The food is great and I really enjoyed the breakfast. Really friendly staff too. The cherry bakewell sponge cake is lovely! There are a couple of bars within a 3 minute walk of the apartment. Popas bar serves food and has a nice seating area outside and is also dog friendly. It has a really friendly, lively atmosphere too.

A little bit of milk in the fridge would have been nice for a cuppa on arrival but to be honest, this property and its location is just wonderful. Take a torch. If you have to let your dog out for a toilet break in the middle of the night, it's almost pitch black outside so a torch would be useful (there's no front or back garden) It's lovely having minimal light pollution though.
