Castle view&Grassmarket studio flat with Luxury bathroom

Really close to the city center right underneath the castle. Clean and tidy apartment with great communication from the owner.

No oven shelf could be found so we couldn't cook a meal in one go. Maybe some instructions on how to get hot water and use the oven /cooker might be useful for other visitors but apart from that everything was good

The location was amazing, clean and well equipped, central to everything and the view was spectacular. Dimitri was very friendly and replied quickly when we messaged him.

The location is good, finding it was a nightmare

this is not an apartment for 4 people. there were items left from previous guests the postcode send you to a rabbit warren of doors the steps to the room are steep and can be dangerous

It was all good,bathroom wasn't luxury i didn't think but it was nice,clean & had a really good shower.

The location and the apartment itself were brilliant, however see comments below.

This apartment is marketed as being "entire unit on ground floor" which technically it is, HOWEVER, what it does not say is that you have to descend FOUR FLIGHTS OF STAIRS to get to the ground floor. I have mobility issues, but I am lucky, I can actually walk short distances so I was able to get down to the flat and back up again (albeit with the use of a cane and with a great deal of time). I cannot even fathom how disasterous this would have been had a wheelchair user booked it expecting it to be on the ground floor and then being in the position of not being able to access the unit and being stuck with no accommodation in Edinburgh during the Festival, there would be no way they would be able to obtain suitable accommodation at that time and their entire holiday would have been ruined with the added expenses of non-refundable tickets, bookings etc. As it was my husband had to dismantle my mobility scooter to take it down the stairs to the unit and then every time we went out had to lug it up the stairs and reassemble it at the top before we could go anywhere. The flat and location were great, but only for people with absolutely no mobility issues. This needs to be made very clear on the listing. This is the fault of both parties here, both the owner who perhaps did not understand the consequences of the "ground floor" listing, but also booking.com for not checking that the listing meant exactly what it said. Please make the necessary adjustments to this listing to ensure that my experience or worse never happens again.

there are plenty of coffee shops on the door step as well as a express tescos at top of street.
