"Ideal location and great host"

Very convenient location for the area. Property was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay (and a pint of milk on arrival which was thoughtful). David, the owner sent plenty of messages before our arrival with helpful directions and a map. He was so lovely and full of useful local advice when we met him. Definitely recommend this for a self catering stay in the Eastbourne/Brighton area.

Nothing to dislike. Right on the main road (but tucked back a bit) so those who really hate traffic noise might not like it but we didn’t notice it at all and the cottage is well sound proofed.

Beautiful garden surroundings. Comfortable well equipped accomodation, classy fit out. Welcoming host and the bonus of a picturesque tea room next door serving wonderful food, including delicious vegan cakes. I enjoyed an exceptional vegan meal at the Long Man Inn just a couple of minutes walk away.. The beachside fun of Bournemouth for swims, walks, or meals was also a short 20-minute drive away.

It was a little dusty by heaters and a couple of glasses were sticky on outside. Not sure if we had to open windows in warmer weather if that would be a disturbance for sleep due to A27 being so near. Not a problem during our stay as cool spring weekend. Apart from that all good.

"Very peaceful and will stay again"

Nice comfortable and quiet, I stayed in the spring but imagine very nice in the summer with big gardens and friendly tea room next door.

On 1st arrival the apartment had been aired so a little bit smelly but once aired all was ok . And I brought a few scented candles and left at the property for others to use.
