JOIVY Modern City Centre Flat next to Calton Hill

The flat is situated at the edge of new town - perfect for all the exploration on foot out and about Edinburgh. The flat is well-equipped, very quiet, and there are shops, restaurants and much more nearby.

There isn’t a working tumble dryer in the flat, which is a bit of a nuisance for a longer stay (I had the flat for four weeks), especially as the bed linen and towels aren’t changed. The Wi-Fi wasn’t always reliable, and the hot water cut out once. However, the administration has always responded promptly to enquiries or when difficulties have arisen, and has been very supportive

El alojamiento me pareció bastante cómodo y bien equipado. Es tal cual aparecen las imágenes publicadas. Se encuentra en un 2do piso, sin ascensor ya que es un edificio antiguo. Todo estaba muy limpio y ordenado, lo que inmediatamente te hacía sentir cómodo. La ubicación me pareció perfecta, ya que tenías la parada de bus cerca y podías llegar rápidamente al centro de la ciudad. En el baño el agua de la ducha salía bastante bien de temperatura, lo que me parece importante ya que hace frío en la ciudad. Cuenta con una cocina muy bien equipada, que te permite incluso cocinar si así lo deseas. La persona con la cual nos contactamos fue muy amable, resolvió mis dudas y nos explicó bien cómo ingresar al alojamiento (lo cual fue sencillo, porque te dejan imágenes de referencia).

Creo que lo único que quizás no me gustó es que te solicitan una garantía en dinero (para cobertura de daños en caso de presentarse) y yo al menos no me fijé en eso antes de reservar esta estancia. Si bien la persona me explicó todo cuando consulté, es primera vez que me solicitan este tipo de garantía de dinero. Entiendo que la plataforma de Booking guarda de alguna forma la tarjeta, por lo cual frente a algún daño, igual podrían cobrarlo.

Godt beliggende, nemt at nå til både til Old town, New town, Leith. Der var god plads i lejligheden.

Très confortable

Le chauffage qui se remet à 15 degrés , un peu juste en plein hiver La douche qui était bouchée et personne n’est venu … heureusement que j’ai un mari bricoleur !

Good quiet location. I like large mirror in the room if you want to prepare a costume for going out. Lots of space in the kitchen and in the room.

Thermostat sets itself to low temperature in the morning and it gets quite cold after waking up. No shutters in the kitchen window.

Location to public transport and restaurants, useful kitchenette facilities

Difficulty with street entry key. Challenges to negotiating stairs with luggage(two +75 yr). Perhaps two chairs in bedroom

キッチンも広く、カトラリー類も充実。基本的な調味料もありましたので、本格的な料理も出来ます。 寝室もバスルームも清潔で、十分な広さがありました。クッキーやコーヒー、紅茶もウェルカム状態で置いてあり、ホストの指示も丁寧でした。ロケーションについては、想像よりも駅から少し離れてはいたけれど、時間の余裕があれば歩くことも可能な距離です。

鍵の受け渡しのBOXの位置が、写真と異なっていたこと。でもテキストだけでなく、写真も合わせての指示がオーナーからあったので、違いに気が付くこともできました。結果オーライです。
