Cabin at Aithernie

It was close to the wedding venue and the beach

The property had everything you would need for your stay. The owner welcomed us on arrival. The owners cats were very friendly and would sit on our knee when we were relaxing outside on the porch. The location was very tranquil and quiet. The surrounding areas are very scenic if you head down to Elie and Pittenweem. Beaches look beautiful. You should try the farm shops on the way for some lovely fresh produce.

We had to keep remembering to step over the door frame when leaving or entering through the doorways but this is obviously due to the property being a cabin which added to its charm. We did get used to this within a couple of minutes.

The cabin was super.

Little or no TV reception & no radio. Metal doule bed too basic, sadly very uncomfortable.

Beautiful cabin, perfect countryside and fabulous hosts. Spotlessly clean, toasty warm and great cooking facilities. My son and I cannot wait to go back

I thought it was perfect.

Peaceful and quiet. The fruit trees were great and the plums tasted amazing. Everything we needed was right there for us. Such thoughtful and friendly hosts. Blacketsyside Farm a short drive to the Farm Shop is worth a visit for coffee and cake and the chippy in Leven serves the best chips around.

I had a bad fall but my own fault really as I'd been warned about the raised lips on each doorway. The approach road was full of potholes but is maintained by the nearby farmer not the hosts so visitors just need to take care.
