I spent £15 on cleaning items from the local shop because I had to fully clean the kitchen living room shower and table before even using. The first two hours of my stay was spent deep cleaning. The washing machine wasn’t usable as it was fully of dirt and dog hair and smelled very bad. The cutlery was sticky, dirty, and the cooking utensils had food on them still. I had to wash up every item of cutlery and every pan pot and plate I touched because they hadn’t been washed and had food on them. I also deep cleaned the cooker and work tops as they were covered in crumbs and food. The oven grids were covered in sticky black stuff and the floor was full of crumbs.

There was supposed to be a pull out couch but it was just a big pillow on a small wood frame. Would be suitable for a couple but wouldn’t recommend for anyone looking for separate beds

It was difficult to find the exact location of the lodge, the pictures that the owner sent me were different to how it was in reality. The lodge I stayed in was nothing like the ones in the pictures, it was tiny(I could hardly move!). The room had a very bad smell so I had to open the windows wide open during a very windy night. Something in the toilet was bagging all night and kept me awake. It was really disappointing, I was looking forward staying there, but as soon as I got into the lodge I felt I got scammed. They shouldn’t be renting that place. Paid £109 to stay literally in a hole.

Lovely Lodge in a beautifully scenic area. Would recommend!
