Culbokie Lodges

The view and the shepherds hut location - both were excellent

We found the hut both unclean and tired and needed attention in certain areas . We didn’t use the shower as it wasn’t clean or inviting. As a point of interest ,we only used the bed however, the bedding is well worn and in need of replacing. Overall, it was a disappointing stop over . We enjoy the quirkiness of shepherd huts but this one sadly let us down and even though we read previous good reviews it was not our experience of Culbokie. We feel let down at the low standard we were presented with.

A wonderful home with everything we needed. Comfortable beds in a fully equipped facility. The view is absolutely stunning. The licarion Our hosts were great with quick responses and excellent directions to find the spot

I was disappointed that we were there only there one night. I could have sat on the sofa and stared at that view all day!

Great location and enough parking for 3 cars. Quiet location too which was nice.

If you look close enough, a few things looked rushed and not well maintained. But overall, everything worked fine and no problems.

It had everything!

One of the most magical places in the Highlands. The cabin was perfectly equipped, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. Communication with the host was fast and easy. Beautiful views of the fields and super close to the local pub. An unmissable stay

Amazing facilities, compact but perfect. Attention to detail was amazing

Not a great experience in the culbookie inn, didn't feel entirely comfortable in bar. Maybe just a one off but a local made us and in particular our dogs very unwelcome
