Lovely location and the lodge had lots of potential.

The lodge has various things broken which we did email and say but we had no response. The bathroom window was jammed open. My husband has to use a knife to take the lock off as it was freezing and unsafe to leave the window open. The lodge was dirty - all dishes were dirty, under the beds had hair clips and socks under it. The sofa was dirty- we found a socks and food packaging in it. The rug was covered in black hair. Our dogs (light brown) bone was covered in black long hair. There was no hoover to hoover it up. We told the hosts what we found and sent photos but we had no response.

"Okay but too small to book again for us."

The view from the Verandah

It was VERY small. The bedroom was the bed. Nowhere to put luggage where it is accessible. The toilet was next to the shower literally- meant the floor always wet.

"Very good"

Small compact room with everything you need including a kitchen. Close to a convenience store. The view from the porch was exceptional overlooking the Firth.

The shower is between the door and the toilet and you need to close the curtain on both sides to take a shower. So you need to walk through the shower to use the toilet. Strange but functional.
