Oxley Cottage

The cottage is in a beautiful secluded spot.The hot tub was brilliant and to be able to sit in the hot tub and see alpacas was awesome!

The slightly main road around the property was closed and made it very difficult to get in and out of the property by a practically single track road that scraped our car underneath- that’s why we were going so slow the following day only to be beeped by a red transporter van (not necessary)

Lovely location and lovely cottage with all that you could need for a lovely get away. Hosts were lovely and provided a complimentary gift. Clean and spacious. Bed was comfy.

Only concern was the flooring, very slippery after going in from hot tub ( yes i dried off but swim wear retains water and drips on feet). Also very cold underfoot so bring slippers.

The area was quite and beautiful some nice little touches with wine and biscuits host was very nice if I could give just one criticism needed a full length mirror in bedroom

The location of the property was exactly what we required for a relaxing few days away. It is surrounded by farmers fields so away from any hustle and bustle. Did 4.5m walk with the dog on a morning and saw 2 cars the whole time on the road and the only other person I saw was the owner walking their dogs. Great place if taking a dog as the cottage has a fence securely around the property meaning we could relax in the hot tub knowing the dog had freedom without having to worry of any escape. The hot tub was very powerful so great after all the walking we did. Owner advised us about breakfast at Chapel Point - great value for great breakfast and pets welcome. Looks onto beach which was a great place to walk the dog also.

There was nothing to dislike about the property - definitely be going back.

The place was immaculate, well presented and comfy throughout. The hot tub area was perfect and a bit of a sun trap which is great! very secure for the dog also. Lovely touch to receive a bottle of wine on arrival. The host even popped by to replace the hot tub filter on the second day. A short drive into Chapel and surrounding areas and the views on the way in/and while there were amazing. Cannot wait to book again

Lovely cottage which provided everything we needed for our stay. Toiletries and welcome bottle of wine and biscuits were appreciated. .Hot tub a bonus. Immediate response when we needed to contact the owner.

Beautiful little cottage, had everything we needed, was clean and the hot tub was a great bonus!

Beautiful well kept farm, nice touch with a bottle of wine and Easter egg as a welcome. Loved the enclosed garden part for the dog. Lovely and warm inside.

The hot tub the first night was only at 34 so needed to be a little warmer, but it raised to 40 the next day. Lots of cobwebs in the bedroom, but didn’t put us off.
