Although fairly compact it is surprisingly comfortable with everything you need for a short stay, both the Shepherd hut and the private shower and facilities were very clean and the location and views are amazing. Roy at the site was very approachable and friendly and the communication with Matt on line was 1st class

Comfortable, great views, private shower/toilet

Hob wasn’t working properly (wasn’t heating up enough to cook my broccoli), shower/toilet wasn’t actually in the shepards hut

"Absolutely wonderful getaway in an idyllic setting."

It’s a beautiful, well equipped cabin with everything we needed for our stay. It was cosy and warm and in a perfect countryside setting.

Our one criticism would be that the mattress is quite thin so by our third night it wasn’t too comfortable.

Friendly service from host. Shepherds hut was very comfortable and filled with everything required. Location very quiet.

More storage would have been beneficial.

Lovely breakfast, great views, clean and plentiful facilities, had everything we needed, we liked the fact we had access to a private lockable bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very cozy Lovely Staff very good! Property very cared for! Honestly really refreshing to go on holiday and stay somewhere that’s cared about! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

It's a cosy little place with a stunning view. Roy is a very nice man helpful and knowledgable about the area. The hut and shower rooms are very clean. The cooked breakfast supplies were very good !

Having to walk to the toilet in the middle of the night. 🫠

Great reception and explanation of property. Everything you could possibly need provided and initial wide range of food provided. Exceptionally clean and nice smelling sheets. Wonderful views
