Felicity and Chris are fantastic hosts and made our stay very memorable. They gave us pointers on beautiful places to visit and were always around to answer any questions we had. The apartment, which has been lovingly renovated, was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Great location just outside of the village of Fort Augustus and easily could walk it in ten minutes. Felicity and Chris were very welcoming and gave us some great ideas for trips etc. the apartment is beautifully done and so comfortable and fully equipped. Would highly recommend it as would the dog who was very welcome

Gorgeous property with great views and excellent hosts. It was a true pleasure to stay here. It was about a 10 minute walk to town, but there were good sidewalks the whole way!

This was our second visit to The Old Convent, apartment 2 and it doesn't disappoint in the slightest. We found this little gem last year as a last minute booking when our travel plans changed suddenly and it was the perfect place to rest and relax. Felicity and Chris make you feel so welcome and have thought about all the little things you may need during your stay (Bertie especially enjoyed the doggie treats). You can tell the renovation has been a labour of love and the furnishings have been picked specifically to suit the age of the property (with some lovely mod cons of course). Due to work we always travel out of season so Fort Augustus was quite quiet but there is still plenty to do and you can explore some lovely walks from the doorstep. It was a perfect base for exploring the west coast and Scotland was particularly spectacular covered in January snow, although equally gorgeous when it's not! The apartment is really spacious, super comfy and you feel like you're in a home from home as soon as you walk through the door. So glad we found this place it's been our perfect little winter retreat.

The Old Convent building is full of history as is the surrounding area. Apartment No. 2 is full of character, it was very comfortable and cleanliness was of a high standard. All amenities provided for a very relaxing stay. Felicity & Chris are warm and welcoming hosts, they are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and highly motivated to make sure their guests enjoy their stay. The location is perfect, a short walk into the picturesque village of Fort Augustus. We enjoyed opportunity for a variety of activities and particularly enjoyed the beautiful walks in the area. We would happily return to the Old Convent apartments.
