Not as advertised in pictures, whole apartment smell was overwhelming complained and agent came right round to try and make right, unfortunately not didn't want charged for a deep clean , so contacted agent right away to complain about everything that was wrong, tried to find elsewhere to stay but couldn't find anything, we all slept in the one room during the duration, would never be back sorry

The apartment was clean and in a quiet location. The apartment was adequate for our needs as we didn't want to cook any main meals.

The carpet on the stairs up to the apartment was a bit worn. Not sure there would have been enough cookware pans etc to do a full meal for a family.

Comfortable large apartment. Clean with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Great parking on private road. Quiet area close to all amneties. Would definitely stay again. This was my second stay in same apartment

There was nothing not to like

Good location. 30 min walk from stadium. Not overpriced. Clean, had everything we needed. Nice to have a bath instead of just a shower. Warm and comfortable.

Could do with some woodwork repair outside windows.

The apartment is in a lovely period building and the bedroom and lounge are large with very high ceilings. The furnishings are comfortable and the bed linen and towels excellent quality. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and appear newly fitted and were really clean. The weather was wet and chilly for May so we appreciated the efficient central heating. It's a good location within easy walking distance of the town centre and there is a local mini supermarket, and excellent pub and Italian restaurant nearby. We did have problems connecting to the wi-fi and some items were missing so I emailed FlexLets on our first morning. These issues were resolved within the hour by Jade who re-booted the router and delivered the items we needed. Excellent response!

The kitchen is sparsely equipped. I found it impossible to sleep on our last morning because the noise from the flat above started around 5am and continued until 7.15 or so. For a stay in Apartment 1 I recommend earplugs.

Good location for centre of the town (15 mins walk) and Stadium of Light (30 mins). Very spacious for two people. Clean, plenty of towels.

It feels like there is so much potential to the property that isn’t being met. The bedroom and lounge are massive but very sparsely furnished and somewhat ‘institutional’ in decoration. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and when we arrived there was no toilet paper, which is pretty shoddy. In fairness, this was rectified but the Wi-Fi never was.

Had to buy a mug as only 2 available and 3 people staying, no glassware at all. Issues with hot water, it would only heat up when the heating was on.

Location, & as we are older, liked the ground floor. Could not answer question re staff , as we did not see any staff.

Mattress could do with replacing, but was OK. A bath mat in the bath ( shower over bath) to prevent slipping would be great, as the bath is deep and smooth.
