I liked the way the owner let me stay later and as I booked a different apartment with the same owner let me go to the next apartment early

The microwave was clean.

Where do I start! 1. Residents with kids shouting and screaming on both nights which started at midnight. I alerted the agency to this immediately on the first night and they said they'd emailed the residents but it obviously had no effect as it was the same the next night. 2. Absolutely disgusting smell that kept wafting around the flat. We think this may have come from an old t-shirt that was under one of the beds. I have never smelt anything like it, but I imagine it's what decomposing flesh would smell like. 3. Stains all round the property including one that looked like a little lump of human poo on the bedroom wall. Stains all over the carpet in the lounge. Again alerted agency in the email but only the noise issue was commented on in their reply email. 4. The sofas in the lounge were no where near like the ones in the photos. One was green and looked liked the sort of think you'd find in a skip. It had Stains all over it so we couldn't sit on. 5. The dial of the radiator in the small bedroom was snapped off and chucked behind the radiator. We tried to reattach it and when we did we discovered previous guests' pants shoved down there as well! 6. Various utensils filthy, hob dirty, exposed pipes on the boiler. 7. Went to iron my son's brand new top he'd got for Chrismtas and white residue ended up all over it. Realised the iron was covered in what looked like toothpaste, if it's limescale then it's worse I've ever seen. 8. No plug in the kitchen sink and a plug that didn't fit in the bathroom meaning once one of us had had a bath none of us could run a new one or have a shower. 9. Youngest child woke up covered in flea bites yesterday morning. 10. No reply to the email I sent yesterday in the the early hours asking for a full refund. The stay totally ruined our Christmas. We were absolutely exhausted from the noise and couldn't relax at all in the lounge as carpet and sofas were disgusting.

More crockery & cutlery

The apartment was neat, spacious and comfortable. Easy access to the City Centre, Sunderland Interchange and Londis for Groceries.

I was confused on how to access the keys but the staff were a call away and provided guidance plus instruction on how to access it.
