Riverside Retreat

Comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Nothing.

Everything great after we got the heating to work. VERY WELL EQUIPPED AND THOUGHT WHAT TRAVELLING PEOPLE NEED. Had absolutely everything. (Well, not a coffee maker but that really is a minor thing and there were instant sachets someone had left, which is also nice that they don't throw away things someone else might need.) Clean. When we had questions the "handlady" hurried to the rescue in a new yourk minute from next door!

The only downside was that B ooking told there to be 2 beds, but the other one turned out to be a sofa bed. (So it has one double bed and a sofabed that sleeps an adult ot 2 children.) That's why I'd say it's more suitable for a couple (+ possibly children), than 3 adults that was our group

I could quite happily live in this property. Every mod con, beautifully presented and comfortable - and met my needs in every way. The stand out feature for me was the view of the Ben from the self contained garden. Perfect.

I dont see how this could be improved.

The accommodation was comfortable and everything we needed was there. Everything basic was available in the kitchen. Tea, coffee, porridge and biscuits were on top. Also a washing machine was available. The hosts are really kind and the communication was very well and fast. Location was perfect for day trips to Glencoe, Glenfinnan etc. Highly recommended! :)

We missed a drying rack.

This was an awesome little unit. A home away from home. It has everything you need, including breakfast options in the cupboard. It had cookies and biscuits, tea and coffee. I loved having a washing machine. One of the hosts, Scott, greeted me on arrival and was very helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. There is also an Aldi nearby, which was handy. The room had fabulous views of the mountains. The bathroom is a good size and the shower was good. The unit is warm and the heater in the bedroom was lovely. It even had bathrobes in the cupboard, and a safe for valuables.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Lovely house in a quiet location just outside Fort William. It was close to Neptune's Staircase and river path walking. There were supermarkets close by without going into town.

Although the king bed looked reasonably new, the springs really talked to you when you rolled over. A really lumpy and not very comfortable mattress. The cushion on the lounge settee struggled to stay on but we didn't use it for sleeping. The instructions for the shower did not provide adequate warmth or pressure. A few basic provisions were provided.

Location was excellent. Extras such as hot water bottles extra blankets books and games. Heating shower and cooker easy to use.

It was very cosy and there was a selection of toys and games 👍

There was cold water in the taps (we tried the instructions given, but it still didn't work) 🤔

Beautiful view! Great hosts. Comfy room. Lovely breakfast.
