The place was lovely and clean, everything we needed was there

Location

It smelt clean, but didn’t feel clean. It was very run down Definitely wasn’t worth the price. The balcony was messy The front garden was very run down and messy.

We didn't stay in Crib Goch in the end. We stayed in another of their holiday homes on the same holiday park. The location of the cabin was beautiful. The view from the outdoor seating area is of the river, which is so pretty. The beds were all comfortable, and the cabin is well equipped. When contacting the host, they replied quickly. The holiday park was perfect for our family. The heated pool and the seating area around it were wonderful. We would definitely return.

The only negative would be that some of the decking boards in front of the cabin need screwing back some as they are a tripping hazard.

Bathroom

The ceilings were damp, they are black marks on the walls, the couch is falling to bites, which were covered my blankets, the decking has a hole in it, which was covered by a plant pot. Could have done with being painted, Dated cabin, needed some new decor, wallpaper falling off. I’ll try upload some more pictures to prove how dated the cabin is, and for £175 a night defo not worth it. I message the owner Mary who said she had been to the property afew days before which was a lie, she also said they were people in the cabin a week ago but also when i mentioned the damp on the roof etc she said it had leaked a week ago. So how can you have people in if there was a leak and also this why they didn’t repaint. What a load of rubbish. My partner who came with me is a painter & decorator and said the place had. it been done in years, which Mary said it had just had a revamp ?? where?? Just ripping people out of money and not keeping up to the standards on the cabin. What a joke!!

Site would’ve been nice as has little shop, restaurant and bar and pool but everyone eating/drinking in the pub sits around the pool

For the first time in our life We actually left and drove 2 hours home as there was not a chance I would stay in that FILTHY lodge. It’s falling apart even looking at it from the outside you can see it’s falling apart, the wallpaper is that mouldy it’s all hanging off, the walls have wood worm, there’s cobwebs EVERYWHERE. It’s smells very strongly of damp and the hosts must know this as every window was wide open and it still stunk, We couldn’t even sit outside as the decking, chairs and table were covered in moss and mould. All the blinds have black mould on them. The double bed looked quite clean but the bunk beds are vile I would never of let my child stay in those beds. I wouldn’t mind if we had paid £40 as I would’ve expected this grim state but nearly £200 for one night I wouldn’t even stay there if it was free.

Easy access and quite central to scenic walks and places of interest

The cabin i hired wasnt available got moved. Said was going to take advert down but still hasnt. There was no electricity on arrival, have to purchase from reception. It uses at least £5 a day. They did reimburse me £20 for my trouble. Wifi doesn't work in cabin. Have to retune the tv after everytime u turn it off. Settings on the tv screen don't or can't turn off. The shower the hot an cold even when u don't move it. Didn't sleep in any of the beds the rooms smell damp and there was black hairs under the pillow in main room
