CRIB GOCH HOLIDAY CABIN SNOWDONIA

No t.v. no Internet access. Fire didn't work and the place had a damp smell throughout and cobwebs behind blinds in the front room. One of the worst stays on booking.com we have had. The photos of the property are very misleading.

The location was perfect for climbing snowdon

The facilities weren’t very clean. Kitchen items were dirty.

Perfect for an over night stay. In a really good location.

The wifi is excellent. The cabin itself was beyond my expectation as the feedback on the cabin originally booked for us were worrisome. I am so glad that when we arrived the cabin was warm, clean and welcoming. We would have enjoyed staying a bit longer if not for previous arrangement. I love the view from the balcony even though the weather did not cooperate. I am planning to go back during summer to stay longer. Thank you very much for the lovely cabin.

Probably the stairs before you get to the property but it is only minor. It will be a huge problem if you have mobility issues.

Nice and clean with very comfortable bed. Lovely site and really convenient for visiting many places of interest. We would stay again.

Communication from owners was great, cabin is close to the amenities! Cabin was clean with everything needed. I would definitely stay there again

Alot of stairs to climb to get up to the cabin! But not a major issue, could have done with outdoor lights.

Great location and the park setting is great.

We were notified 24hrs before arrival that there was a problem with the cabin we booked, and they were moving us to another cabin with the same layout. Following our stay we contacted the hosts for a partial refund of the amount we paid, and had no response. The accommodation they moved us to, may have been the same layout wise, but the accommodation itself was not the same as that advertised and was no where near the same price point as the accommodation booked. The accommodation is smaller. As it was a lower floor instead of patio doors from the lounge leading onto a balcony we had no patio doors from the lounge, there was decking at the door entrance. We found though that the decking was tired, the decking furniture was filthy, and the gate was not secure as the gate was to small for the gate latch to fit into the keep, not ideal at all for our dog, especially when advertised as pet friendly. The electric top up - we were informed of this 24hrs before our arrival, had we known in advance we wouldn't have booked. The heating provided was no where near sufficient for the property for this time of year. The heater in the lounge only keeps the lounge warm whilst in use, if you turn the heater off within 10mins the room is cold, which obviously with the meter setup is not ideal, there was £10 on the card for our arrival this went on heating. There is a mini oil radiator in the main bedroom we put this on max, when it came for us to go to bed the room was that cold still, we had no choice but to use the sofa bed in the lounge. The property should not be rented out at this time of year, the heating is no where near fit for purpose. Upon entering the property it smelt damp, we can only assume this is because the property can not be properly heated. The bathroom - due to the poor heating situation the bathroom had the temperature of a fridge, also smelt damp and was far to cold to take your clothes off in there to have a shower.

Location was amazing, host was brilliant and informative, the property was cleaned thoroughly (there is mold on the walls in the property but it’s a static caravan in winter not the Marbel Halls of Rome now is it). Would probably stay somewhere else in the winter, although I can imagine it’s amazing in the summer for the price.

Electricity is on a meter which isn’t informed about until you get your itinerary 48 hours before, it was cold (again Winter, Static caravan) and to top up electric you need to go to the reception which is supposed to be open until 4pm on a Saturday, and wasn’t open when we went there at 3:30pm (although host was very accepting and understanding of that)
