Thompson Apartments by Switchback Stays

Great location, nicely fitted out flat.

This is the second time I've stayed in this flat (number 3). The first time there was a slight smell of damp in the bathroom but this time it was overwhelming, despite the two air fresheners that had been left in the room. There's clearly a major issue as the skirting boards had fallen away from the wall. Additionally, last time it would seem there wasn't anyone staying below me, however on this occasion I could hear conversation coming through the floor so well I could make out what was being said. The person in the flat above had a cough... Suffice to say soundproofing is nonexistent.

The size of the rooms was good. Cooking was good.

Could not get the shower to work. Some marks on the walls.

Very clean and comfortable. Good location and great value for money.

We had some issues with the tv. Not a huge problem but might be worth mentioning in the guide book to manage expectations.

Good location for us. Comfortable, clean. Easy to phone to get heating sorted.

System for picking up keys needs to improve - was given a 5 figure code for a 4 figure lock box. People upstairs had noisy kids
