GBGBIt had a parking space and was very central to Braintree Town. It had a lift and a nice terrace to sit on.
There are stairs inside like this: 2 down from entrance, 2 up to kitchen, 2 up to second wc, 6 down to bedroom. The lift was also not on the same level.

GHLocation was great, right in the city center close to shopping mall, restaurants, shops.
However cleaning can be better. Bathroom was a with broken shower and kitchen was not very clash as well the fridge
GBLocation was perfect. It was close to the town centre, the parking was just opposite the apartment building and the bed was super comfy. I have to say Martyn was easy to contact and very helpful, and due to some issues we had in the apartment, he let us stay for an extra 2 hours. The lift is efficient and you can fit 2 of you and your luggage in and the whole building has a quirky charm.
On entering the apartment it smelled like a fish and chip shop, not a great first impression. We had a walk round the apartment, and it's quirky, which is nice. However, when we came to look closer, parts of the apartment were not very clean. There were visible cobwebs within the double glazing, and there is a large crack on the bath surround, I also think there is a small leak. More worryingly is that the kitchen has some issues. The cooker is plugged into a 13 Amp socket which is dangerous and the controls on the cooker come off, so we had some issues cooking. There were no washing up sponges and some of the under cupboard lights don't work. On one of the days we went out for the day, we came back to find someone had parked in our spot, without a permit, so I had to keep an eye out of the window for his return and ask him to move. He told me he had been told he could park there, I think that could be a lie. The wifi link on the television isn't great, which was disappointing when trying to watch a show on terrestrial tv in the evening. I think Martyn may need to check in with the staff that actually go into the apartment to clean, etc. to make sure they are doing a decent job and reporting any issues, as he seems like a good bloke being let down by others.
