Walled City Apartments

We booked this as a gift for friends. They really enjoyed the freedom of staying at apartment as opposed to an hotel.

Ideal location, it had everything we needed!

We met the lady next to the building as we where walking up and she was lovely and helped us collect the keys from the lock box - she was great! The location was excellent and the apartment was clean - we rented two and each one was beautifully decorated and really clean, excellent kitchen and lovely bathroom. Would highly recommend as very close to everything! Host was very responsive to messages and completed a request we had which was brilliant - thanks for making our weekend in Derry brilliant!

Location was good and central, Easy to get into.

When we arrived there was underwear in the drawer, one of the windows would not close so it was extremely cold when we arrived- followed the heating instructions and could not get the heating on. Thankfully we were out most of the day as we were up for a birthday but when we returned to the apartment it was extremely cold, unfortunately I do not think I would return to this location.

Location was perfect.. right in the middle of everything. Will book again when calling back up to Derry

It was a great space in an easy-to-access location. Within walking distance to everything. Had plenty of space for my whole party to relax and was very clean.

The front door didn't latch. It could be opened with a little push without putting in the door code, but the owner was alerted and said they'd fix it. Be careful of narrow staircases if you have larger luggage.

Location is great and checking-in was very straight forward. Parking was not too bad, we found a spot on a parking lot nearby by and it's free all day on Sundays.

The heating wasn't working (we were lucky it was not too cold). The fridge looked very old and was not on when we arrived so we had to wait for a few hours before it cooled down. Everything looked a bit shabby and the sheets and duvet didn't smell good. The toilet didn’t flush very efficiently and was quite slow. There was no shower gel or shampoo and you won't be able to get them in the area after 6 pm. TV is very old, so forget about watching a movie on Netflix or similar. 4 flights of stairs to get to the flat.
