Everything, the location is perfect it was like a home away from home, perfect hosts we were made to feel incredibly welcome, we will be going back to the lakes again and definitely be rebooting to stay here.

The apartment was a good space, clean & tidy, separate bedroom with ensuite shower & toilet. The kitchen lounge was well equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster & few other bits. Lovely views from lounge. Very quiet as you are only guests. Very good location as only few minutes from Kendall and Windermere & the lakes. Plus easy access to rest of Lake District. Hosts Mel & Sue made us very welcome, including some nice biscuits on arrival. Will happily recommend this for those who good location & quiet location for Lake District. We will be back.

"It couldn't be better"

Mel and Sue's accommodation is the perfect base for exploring the Lake District. It is located on a beautifully maintained property where there is a lot to discover (ducks, goats, sitting areas, etc.). Everything is prepared with great attention to detail and leaves nothing to be desired. And if you do, all you have to do is tell Mel. Just like we say about hundreds of other guests in the guestbook since 2012! Some have already been there 5 times. We also plan to come back! We say “thank you” to Mel and Sue!

There was nothing to complain about. Stop: The vacation was too short!

"Home away from home"

Mel and Sue are the most loveliest people. They made sure we felt right at home and went above and beyond with our additional requests to make sure we had a fantastic time in the lakes. The property is very clean and well maintained with all the required facilities. The location is very convenient with amazing views in the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

"Superb"

Great self contained flat, Mel and Sue the hosts, were very welcoming, along with the Dogs, Chickens, Ducks and Goats. With a Bus Stop less than 2 mins away easy access to Kendal and The Lakes. Sad we had to leave.
