Little Burbank

A beautifully appointed little apartment just prefect for the two of us for the four days we stayed here. The washing machine with built-in dryer was excellent - something we really needed as we were on an extended holiday from overseas. While the location was lovely and quiet, we could walk to the local pub for a nice meal and it was only a short drive up the road to Windermere.

Nice fully fitted appartement. Friendly and welcoming hosts . Handy location for buses to tour the Lakes. Local pub for good beer, food and staff.

Limited water pressure in shower, apart from that all good.

Breakfast was excellent on the first day, however, a continental breakfast was only available on the 2nd day due to an extremely busy night the night before. The host compensated us by only charging us half price, which was great. The customers were extremely friendly and when they found out that we were from Australia, a couple of them tried to shout drinks. A great pub with super hosts Sean and Jackie.

The flat was very comfortable and clean. Mel and sue were very friendly. Would recommend.

Little Burbank is ideally situated, set back from and above the main road, so there is little noise. The view south across the valley, through the huge picture window, is superb! Mel and Sue are lovely friendly hosts.

We really love the entire house, especially the view from the big window was amazing!

Lovely place to stay in the Lakes District with a pub and amenities across the road.

No tea, coffee or milk. Not an issue for us but good to note if you are arriving late.
