large cobwebs on bathroom window and some dust around the place - but that would be the cleaner at fault not the owner! The child bed/put-me-up in the living room was not comfortable, very narrow and hard to sleep on. My teenage son slept there and I slept in the double bed, but on night two we had to swap as he couldn't sleep. Ouch is all I can say! I would only go there with my husband and use the main bed if we visit again.

The position of the property suited us. We were not on holiday but supporting a family relative. We used to live in the area for many years so we are very familiar with the situation of the flat and the facilities that are close by. The size of the apartment suited our needs as we were travelling as a couple. The decor was modern and pleasant. The kitchen facilities were good and the small balcony off the kitchen door was just large enough for us to have a coffee sitting outside. It was useful to have washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and clothes washing capsules provided.

The shower is very poor. I am 5’7” tall. I only had roughly 2” of head room under the shower head. My husband is just over 6 feet tall and he could not position himself under the shower head. The water pressure in the bathroom is very poor. At times we had no running water out of the basin tap, just a continuous drip, then it would gush through at force. It was exactly the same in the shower. The pressure varied between a dribble and a good flow, rinsing shampoo out of my hair took so long I didn’t bother with conditioner. There is also a variation in heat due to the changeable water flow. You have to turn sideways to enter the shower cubicle due to the size of the doorway when the sliding door is pushed back. The toilet flush didn’t always cut off with water continuing to run into the toilet bowl. A hook for clothes away from the shower cubicle would be useful. The bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable. We bought a mattress topper to provide some relief. The bed is also quite short, my husband had to sleep diagonally. The ice box in the fridge could not be used as it was completely frosted up and refused to close which was annoying as I had brought some frozen meals with us for our dinners.
