Postman's Knock, Lynmouth, first floor apartment with private parking

Lovely apartment in an excellent location with the benefit of somewhere to park. Lovely walks direct from the apartment meant the car was redundant during our stay.

Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable apartment with the added benefit of parking close by. Would love to come back.

A little chilly and would benefit from some instant heating rather than relying on storage heating.

Very comfortable bed, very clean and modern and the scones were a lovely touch :)

Quiet place on the sea front. Was very comfortable and had fantastic views.

Was a little awkward to get baggage in and out, but not too bad.

Clean and comfortable and a great location for walking ,the apartment provided books with local walks for inspiration.Great having free parking close by .The Lynmouth version of the fisherman's friends were singing at the nearby pub one evening, we could hear them from the apartment so went for a wander and had a great evening sat outside taking in the atmosphere , a great experience.

Wi-fi kept dropping out so made streaming TV tricky for nexflix etc . Thankful we had pre-ordered an online supermarket delivery as there are limited options nearby .

We were looking for a clean, spacious, central self-catering apartment for two as a base for exploring the area and meeting up with family. Postman's Knock met all our expectations and more. The apartment has everything you might need for cooking your own meals (the sea view from the kitchen and front room was wonderful!), yet there are plenty of places to eat out on your doorstep. The settee's were comfortable, light and airy front room, spotless kitchen, cosy bedroom. Having a place to park your car so close was very convenient, and within a few steps from the apartment was a pasty shop, fudge shop, art gallery, fish and chip shop, cafe's, crazy golf, park, river walk and the sea. Highly recommended.

Nothing related to the flat. We had read that there was not a supermarket in Lynmouth and brought our own ingredients to cook meals for the two of us. It was a pleasant surprise to find milk, tea, coffee and scones, cream and jam left by the apartment owners. If you do plan to eat in then do bring cereals, pasta etc as the nearest shop we found (Londis) was in Lynton. Plenty of places closeby in Lynmouth to eat out, including a cafe that served pizzas in the evening a few steps away.

It was spacious, lovely decor and in a great location. The views are beautiful.

The hallway is quite dark as the light takes a while to come on. The bed was rather firm but this is a personal preference.

This is truly a first class apartment, spotlessly clean, well situated and furnished with excellent taste. Everything you need is there, the bed slept very well and the view is very good. Definetely strongly recommended.
