1 Bedroom Apartment with a Wonderful View

Great location and beautiful views with friendly hosts

I would have liked to have some milk left in the fridge for tea and coffee on arrival

We only stayed for one evening and morning, but couldn’t have asked for a more convenient and comfortable short stay. The apartment if small but perfectly formed, providing everything we could have wished for. Ideal for a couple staying longer, though a car is definitely needed.

slight misleading, some photos is of other apartment. the accommodation is a studio as everything is in one room, bar the toilet. could hear other guests talking next door. door to other accomodation is near the bed behind a curtain/chair.

We liked the setting with great views and the working equestrian centre which was interesting. We liked the layout of the flat which was ideal for a short stay.

None of the doors fitted correctly and scraped the floor so they didn't close fully. All of the taps were loose. The single bed was extremely hard so we borrowed an air bed for a topper from a friend. The shower drain was blocked with hair so the tray overflowed on to the floor. There were lots of cobwebs, one over the sink was very big. Photo below! The whole flat could have been much cleaner. Dust, splashes in the small ensuite toilet, fridge icebox needed defrosting, and the ensuite loo door hits the seat when pushing open too but then won't close fully because of the door bottom hitting the floor so you have to visit then leave the door ajar. And for goodness sake tighten up the tap retaining nuts on 3 tap fittings, 15 minutes effort. All in all a couple of days attention to details would make this a little gem!

Had everything we needed and good for the dogs

Great property, easy to access, we stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment, we stayed here due to us going to a wedding 5 minutes up the road! The hosts were fab accommodating my request to check in early. The apartment was lovely and from the windows could see into the field, lovely views! Overall very impressed with this place & would recommend!

Quiet and pretty

Shower unit in kitchen area

Location was quiet and peaceful, bed was comfortable. It was perfect for what we wanted, somewhere we could stay overnight where we could charge our electric car

The kitchen area is somewhat cramped and the shower rather gets in the way. But the unit is competively priced, we knew it wasn't very spacious and you get what you pay for. We would have appreciated a cafetiere to make our breakfast coffee and a bread knife

The room was small but met our needs, the shower was powerful and the surrounding grounds and farmland were very pretty

It was quite dusty
