The Apartment is very comfortable and welcoming. It also has every thing you could want during your stay it feels very much like home. The upstairs shower is lovely it's like a hot rain shower. The building the Apartment is in a beautiful t the downstairs entrance area is very clean and well kept you can see the bits that dated from when it was a hospital.

The downstairs shower drains very slow so you have to be careful when using the shower.

Location excellent. Roomy apartment and quiet. View of the Minster was wonderful. Well equipped kitchen.

Shower cubicle drainage was slow in emptying. A coffee machine would have been useful.

The location was great. Easy to access.

The full bed needs badly replaced. After traveling I think the minimum expectation would be a bed that has many springs that are broken. Almost fell out of the bed the first night. Used pillows to prop up mattress. The shower downstairs drain was so small you literally stand in your dirty bath water. The shower upstairs had so much lime build up that not only was is disgusting to look at but the water sprayed everywhere.

The location and size of the property for 4 adults and 1 baby. Very clean, spacious and cosy. It is right next door to a Sainsbury’s if you need any essentials and a 5min walk to the town and markets. Plenty or cafes, pubs and shops on your doorstep and a beautiful view of the York Minster. All of the attractions are in walking distance from the property

How the booking team managed my requests. We wanted to enter the property earlier than 4pm because you have to check out by 10am so realistically, you loose an entire day although you pay a daily rate. I challenged this to help us as the weather was bad and we have a baby and I was told it’s 4pm but If anything can change that, they would contact us. So, we planned our trip around a 4pm check in and by 12pm on the day, we were told the place was ready for us. I find it hard to believe the cleaners finished their job 4hrs earlier than originally planned the day before. We have stayed in other properties in that building and this one was the only one that didn’t provide a very good welcome pack. The others had a welcome bottle of wine, a note and some nice chocolates and biscuits, soaps, shampoos etc

Location was perfect did take us a while to find the key safe was handy having a Sainsbury’s at the back of the apartment

The parking space numbers need re-painting you couldn’t see some of the numbers and the leaves didn’t help apart from that we had a lovely time

Central location which was excellent. Everything is within walking distance. Kitchen well stocked. Big spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Secure parking.

Doors, light switches could do with a good clean.

Lift was not working throughout our stay. There were stains on the wall in the twin room. No full length mirror in twin room. The skylights were tricky to open and the fans didn’t work very well. Lounge was a bit dated.

On first entering great well appointed comfortable seating . Well positioned for town centre.

Mattresses all need renewing very lumpy and well used. One duvet had blood on it. And worst of all both toilets wouldn't flush first time , took about 10+ presses to get them to flush. Not easy on arthritic hands , of course they could get it sorted but not till the day after we left .

The location was great. Within in walking distance of city attractions, groceries, restaurants. The unit had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a pullout couch in the living room. The unit is very well kept and is very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the elevator was not functioning so it made it difficult to get our luggage up to the upper level. Because the temperature was very warm outside, it was very warm inside. York Stays brought over an additional fan, which helped as the fans in the unit didn't seem to be working. My friend ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs where she could prop open a window. We were unable to open the skylights in the upstairs bedrooms.

The apartment is in an excellent position, just a few minutes away on foot from every landmark in York; it's spacious, clean, comfortable and with a superb view of the York Minster

The bedrooms can get pretty warm at night in the summer, but it's hardly the staff's fault since they can't control the exceptional weather of this year
