Access road in the dark was entertaining!! But all part of the lovely weekend.

It's a lovely, peaceful location with great walks and wonderful views from the apartment. The cinema system is excellent and it was a wonderful way to relax and getaway. Ideal for a few days stay! Lovely honesty box snack area and the hosts are great!

We didn't have any phone signal which is just something to be aware of and not commentary on the property. There is wifi which worked well, but you couldn't make or get any calls. There is no dishwasher or freezer, so if you stayed more than a few days it would be a bit difficult.

The location is perfect for a walking break with lots of potential walking routes from the front door. The local pub, the Craven Arms, is an easy 20-minute walk (or a very short drive if you like) and serves great food with excellent choice of beer and wine. The apartment itself was delightful and clean with all the facilities you would need and with excellent hosts. The large cinema screen and choice of DVD's to play in the evening was an unexpected bonus!! A really pleasant and enjoyable 3 night stay. If we were looking for another short break in the area we would definitely stay again.
