The Albert Road Flat

Lovely and clean, had everything we needed, to use the dishwasher we needed a few more cups ,plates and cutlery, no potato masher etc. a few more utensils would have been handy, eg. tongs. However it was lovely, we really enjoyed our time in Worcester.

We would have loved to be able to sit out in the sun in a garden, However it was lovely to look out onto the garden below.

I would have preferred the property to have been a little closer to the city centre, although the location wasn't really a problem.

I wasn't happy about having to contact the owners via WhatsApp to obtain the key box code (having said that, Nikki was very nice, even though I briefly interrupted her holiday in Greece). I would have preferred to have received the code by email at least a few days in advance (as I have for most other places I've stayed in). Whilst I'm not exactly a technophobe, I could have done without having to figure out how to use WhatsApp whilst sitting on the steps of the property. I would have thought that emailing the code shouldn't cause a problem if it is changed after each visit.

This was a well maintained flat within walking distance from the centre of Worcester. Lovely tray of snacks on arrival. Carpark spot at the rear of the property.

The kitchen worktops could do with a coat of varnish.

very homey and spaces for 4 people

it’s not a didn’t like it or anything there was a cup of coffee in the microwave and I’m not sure if it was me with the cooker but I had it on for an hour and it didn’t heat up

Very clean and tidy. Bed in the main bedroom very comfortable. Off street parking space worthwhile. Lounge seating comfortable. TV had flat batteries, which was quickly attended to by Nikki. Very quiet road and area.

Steps to front door require stabilising. No instructions for anything. Bathroom wash basin lacks plug. Shelf over Bath very insecure. Shower only gives vertically down or horizontal water, nothing in between. Kitchen, automatic kettle does not switch off. Again, no plugs in either sink outlet. Double cooker, main oven fails to heat up. Top oven OK. Lounge, curtain rail has pulled out of the wall in all 3 fixings and will fall out totally very soon, causing possible personal injury. Sorry to be negative, but the property needs urgent attention to detail and repairs.

Quiet residential area. Spacious lounge. Comfortable beds.

Generally clean but more TLC is needed especially the kitchen. Oven was filthy and the worktops in very poor condition. Bedding clean but not ironed. Had not been dusted. Not sufficient utensils, pots pans to cook a meal. Wine glasses were found to have lipstick on the rims. No plug in the bathroom basin and no seal on the bottom if the shower door. Water everywhere!
