Space, car parking. Location near restaurants etc

Directly above a noisy bar/ terrace. 10 th floor but sound travels. Flat owned by a DIY bodger… badly fitted laminate floors and decor panels, curly rug badly taped to floor, knackered window blinds…

The location was excellent. It is very convenient for public transport and just next to restaurants and shops. It was great to have a kitchen so we could self cater as well.

One bedroom had blinds with missing slats and no blackout curtains, so it was not dark enough for my liking. One bathroom had sink and bath plugs, which wouldn't close, and a shower attachment that didn't work. Many of the cooking pots were supposed to be non-stick but were scratched, so I could not use them. The flooring was lovely, but cheap rugs were scattered around. We are elderly and consider them a trip hazard as they curled up at the edges.. The small tv worked, but the larger one seemed to need a sky subscription, which we didn't have . The apartment is in a great location, but I hope these problems are remedied before the next guests arrive.

Location was great. Close to restaurants and a 15 min walk into the shopping centre. Parking was perfect ince you figured it out. Views from thr 10th floor were excellent.

Noise from the Slug & Lettuce below. First night it was dreadful. Thankfully it rained the second night so was slightly quieter. The windows didn't seem to shut /seal fully so the noise just came through, even though we were 10 floors up.

The beds were not changed from previous visitors, the showers didn't work very well and the place was dusty. Not pleasant at all.

The apartment was clean, modern and enough room for 3 adults. Free parking.

1. Late advice of change to the booking originally made. 2. No operational lift in alternative building. 3. Hot water was not available all day as it appeared to be on a timer. 4. Could not get the induction cooktop to heat up although it did turn on. 5. We were accused of taking a hair dryer from the Blue Diamond apartment after checking out although we never actually stayed there.
