The Hideaway, Family apartment close to the beach.

Location, it was comfortable and homely. Loved that it had a washing machine.

Everything was good, the big step out from the shower could be a concern. I felt I had to hold onto the wall to balance and step out. Provide a fan or two for the hot sticky days.

Location. Parking.

Poor cleanliness. Rug in living room was filthy. Could not get bedside light to work in double room. No hanging facilities in double room.

The apartment had good facilities for all our needs and was within a 10 minute walk to the local shops and main highstreet. The kitchen area was superb and the seating area cosy.

Nothing of note, apart from a couple small things needed a minor tighten where lose due to every day wear and tear

I think booking.com should give a bonus rating.. l stayed a week....complaints none.....spotless clean place with fantastic privacy. Home from home...Great place if you got kids or even a dog....as the place is complete with your own paved back...and no fear of kids escaping......beds were immaculate....Beeding lovely and fresh...bunk beds for the.kids and even a travel cot....not to forget the washing machine....its a nice walk to the beach and shops...loads of chairty shops if that's your thing....would not even bother driving to the beach it's close enough....met the owner lovely guy ...its a family run bissnes and l like to support that..shower was spotless...really not one negative thing to say....perfect for family holidays... very strongly recommended...l give this 20 stars out of 10..

Location was great , 5min walk to town and beach

Overall the property was in a great location but in our opinion it needed a deep clean. Kitchen cupboards had spill marks down them, the front door had dirt marks on the inside, kitchen/front room windows were very dirty, these are a massive focal point for the place, so I feel they should be cleaned. The inside of microwave was still dirty from the previous People, the sofas had stains on, not sure if it was a spilage or dog wee. I think a deep clean on the apartment would be a great idea, there was also a damp smell in there. I don't want to put people off staying here, it's a lovely place, these are purely our personal opinions. Just want to make it lovely for the next people who stay and if the hosts don't know, how can they fix anything.
