"Nice apartment but too noisey next door to a live music bar"

The facts right in the middle of the centre.

The bed was awful, the shower pressure wasn't great and it's only a rain shower no separate attachment,the 'sofa bed' was unusable! Literally couldn't sit on it, it was that bad, one of the kitchen cupboards was basically hanging off when opened. Absolute mess. They really need to invest in new sofas. The cleanliness wasn't the worst but not great either. And I added balloons and banner package to be set up for when we arrived, which it wasn't and was told the cleaners got rid as they thought it was rubbish to throw away. After getting in touch they did provide new banners and balloons( banners just draped over tables, not up on walls etc). The cleanliness when you first walk into the building was atrocious, filthy floors, smelly, and vile dirty lift. The only plus for this place was the location, although sometimes it did get a bit much as you walk out the front door and you smack bang in the bust of it, so some people might not like this. The communication with staff(over WhatsApp) was good, nothing to fault there. For the price I paid for this, I expected better.

"WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I WANT MY REFUND, THIS IS ILEGAL"

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Happy Days Apartments, which I consider completely unacceptable. Less than 24 hours before my arrival, I was informed that the apartment I had booked was suddenly unavailable due to a “maintenance issue.” Without asking for my consent, they unilaterally reassigned me to a different apartment at another address. From the very beginning, I clearly rejected this alternative. The new apartment was not equivalent to what I had booked — it lacked the specific features that were essential to my choice (including the themed design and bathtub). This was not a minor change; it was a completely different property. Despite my repeated messages stating that I did not accept the change and requesting a cancellation and full refund, the company refused. Their justification was that they had “offered an alternative,” ignoring the fact that I explicitly declined it from the start. Communication was extremely frustrating. I had to insist multiple times for basic information, calls were not answered, and the responses felt dismissive and unhelpful. The situation caused unnecessary stress while I was working and preparing for my trip. What is most concerning is that they kept the booking active and later claimed the stay had gone ahead, even though I never checked in or used the apartment. Refusing a refund under these circumstances is unfair and misleading. A company cannot simply replace a booked property at the last minute and force the customer to accept it. If the original accommodation is unavailable, the client must have the right to cancel and receive a full refund. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious. Based on my experience, there is a real risk that the apartment you book is not the one you will get — and that your rights as a customer may not be respected.
