Charming Apartment in the Old Town

Cozy apartment in the old town, walking distance to everything! Even more spacious than in the pictures and colorful rooms create a nice atmosphere. Cool fact: the apartment used to belong to a clan chief, which gives a special notch to the stay in Edinburgh.

It's right next to a popular bar street and people pass the apartment on the way to the bars so there is noise at night --> better to bring earplugs with you. Also the apartment is on the ground floor between taller buildings so even during the day it's quite dark.

A comfortable well-equipped apartment close to the National Museum and the Royal Mile, this was agreat choice for a short visit. The kitchen was good for making the occasional meal and the living room was relaxing. The bathroom provided the option of either a bath or a shower with plenty of hot water.

Not much. The street was steep with cobblestones so a bit tricky with luggage. While the bed was comfortable, it was a little smaller than expected.

Location was great, could walk to most things but had to uber to a few locations. Linda was super friendly and helpful.

Netflix didn't work and free shuttle (as advertised on the website) was not an option

Location was great. IT was a bit noisy being close to everything, but still nice to be in center.

The apartment wasn't cleaned yet when we arrived, even though it was after check in time. Something about cleaners not showing up. But we went out & they came to clean up. The person who met us with keys felt bad and dropped off a bottle of wine & biscuits for us.

The property was spotless and was so cosy. As a side note, the property owners were really really helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay.

Shower was a little weak for my liking… but I like a powerful shower. That is the only thing and it’s certainly not a deal breaker!!
