Location, lovely apartment. Clean.

The family above us had young children, and you could hear them all the time running around. You couldn't get in till 4pm on the arrival day and know where to store luggage for the day? On the day of departure, we vacated the building by 10am? Again, very early and know where to store luggage for the day, so we were forced to come straight home, we were supposed to have 3 day there but the 1st day we just hung around cafes with our suitcases waiting to get into the apartment, and the last day out by 10am , no where to store our Luggage, so had to come home. So, really, we only had 1 full day in York but paid for 3!

Location,once we did get our bearings with the help of local. It was easy walking distance to Shambles, market, Mister and great eating places

Bins and recycling bins were overflowing and we heard noises in the middle of the night by the bins. Could have been rats or urban foxes but the bins should have been left out to collect at last a week before our stay.

Excellent facilities, clean, fluffy towels, everything was lovely, will stay again

The gate lock was tricky

Good location for exploring York and the accommodation was clean, comfortable and a good base from which to explore.

Visiting with my elderly mother on a very cold November weekend, the property was a little chilly. I fully appreciate the need for environment and cost efficiency but it was uncomfortably cold and there wasn’t the capacity to increase the temperature when we were in the property (instructions didn’t match the system).
