The Folly

Excellent central location with pleasant walk on open area adjacent to the property for pet owners. Ideal for a short stay only as it is compact in the extreme. It was warm and dry. Good communication by email from the owners as to check in and out. Even offering a refund after booking.

We found the property was very tired and in need of updating and repair in places. We found that the cleaning regime was wanting eg we found the freezer box was solidly blocked by an opened pack of prawns left by a previous customers. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Perfect location for the town .nice parking spot for my motorbike.

Location

Lovely little property, full of character. Great location, in center of town but tucked away and quiet. Comfy bed.

The skirting boards in the bathroom were loose, could do with a bit of loving. But overall we loved the place and would definitely return.

The location was perfect. Very comfortable bed and good use was made of the space available. We coped very well with the paddle stairs, despite my initial concerns.

There was only one mirror in the bathroom. I had to use the microwave as a mirror when I dried my hair, not ideal. Also, there was only one coat hanger available, so we bought a couple more.

Quiet. Clean.

Cottage was even smaller than we thought it was going to be. OK for one night but too cramped for any longer. The stairs would be totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues as they were almost vertical. Small things missing, just one coat hanger, no mirror in the bedroom and all local attraction leaflets were very out of date.
