Ground Floor City Retreat

Location.

Dirty entrance, street door almost impossible to open or close, windows filthy. THERE IS A TRAINLINE UNDER THE BUILDING. This wasn’t listed in the features of the property. Didn’t get a single uninterrupted sleep. Some of the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned before we got there. Mold in the shower, paint peeling in both toilets.

Spacious, clean, inviting, easy access, close to city centre.

No parking outside, it would have been nice to have some visitor permits to park outside even if we needed to pay for them. Railway directly outside the bedroom window, although this wasn’t too busy. The bed was quite hard, maybe a mattress topper would have made it better.

Compact and clean and settee and bed Comfortable.

I t didn’t bother us but it was very close to the train line. Pillows were a touch hard but we did sleep well

Ideal clean apartment for a few days

Twin beds was asked for when booking but did not happen, on booking website of yours it shows twin beds, need to provide phone or web for church parking nearby

No where to park 😕 no welcome pack 😑

It was little bit further from the centre of town than we would have liked, the first few walks in were fine but we went in and out more than once a day sometimes and it became quite tiring in the heat. Access to Wells, Bristol and Bradford were easy and the city of Bath has a great deal to offer, it is very manageable and is very attractive. The drive from Suffolk is a long one and we dreaded traffic problems, lucky for us there were none. The apartment was tastefully decorated and the furnishings were comfortable.

The litter and dead weeds in the doorstep pot were not very welcoming and a clean front window would have been good. We were unable to use the hob and there were no instructions but that may have been our incompetence. The fan was very valuable, it was very hot at night and the bedroom window did not open.

It was clean and comfortable and well-equipped

My only complaint, and it’s a small one would be the second toilet could have done with a hand towel, and perhaps another hand towel in the bathroom, but as I say, that would’ve been my only, very small, complaint
