Whitby Wave breaker studio

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% recommend! Our stay at Whitby Wave breaker studio was absolutely exceptional! The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully appointed, cozy and the location was perfect for exploring the city. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.

The property was very centrally located, yet hidden away. Was perfectly comfortable for one night. Parking is £9 for 24 hours 1 minute walk away.

Funny noises throughout the night, toaster in pictures/description but wasn’t there, damp smell in bathroom. It had low ceilings but this was mentioned. Although I’m 5.4 and I couldn’t stand tall in the shower! Just an FYI for the owners, the toilet door doesn’t close.

Bedding is good quality. Beds are comfortable. Location is close to town. Warm and wifi works well. Milk and tea was appreciated.

Damp and no PIV or extractors. Air quality awful. Very dirty and dusty. Needs deep clean. Lack of compliance with fire safety order affecting holiday letting. Wrong fire extinguisher as powder is for outdoors, no emergency lights or torches, no FS30 internal doors, no thumb turn lock on front door etc. No one would get out in a fire easily. Place feels unloved with no loo roll upon arrival, tv aerial not working, no sink for dishes , microwave caked in old food and rusty and no handbook for guests. Overall, poor for money. External yard lock needs lighting as hard to see keypad at night. Very noisy from above and street due to lack of sound insulation. The lack of cleaning of black mould is unacceptable in hospitality.

Not a lot of Cooking equipment, Kettle and Microwave only, toaster for breakfast would have been nice, car parking is close but can't pay by card and had to ring up which wasn't that easy,

Great location, close to everything but tucked away on a quiet street.

There is no kitchen, plus the roof is a little too low!

We arrived at this place and as soon as we walked in there was a strong smell of damp we rang the host and we got moved to the upstairs room which was even worse I have never seen a apartment as dirty and dusty as this,I rang the host back who was very rude and said ‘leave and leave the key’ I wouldn’t let our dogs stay here was absolutely thick in dirt this is just a couple of the photos I’ve inserted

My 2 sisters and I stayed, and we had an excellent stay , everything we needed. I would definitely book again

It was nice and clean. Shampoo n conditioner in bathroom

Ceiling height was too to low .I banged my head twice. Now have a big lump on my head. Main problem was I took my brother who has cancer and his immune system is low and the studio is very damp. Obv you already know this as there is a de humidifier in the studio. Wouldn't have booked if I'd known about this problem .

Very spacious, use of hairdryer and iron, warm, bath as welm as shower
