Whitby Wave breaker studio

Very spacious and easily assessable, even with a pushchair! There are a few steps but if you go to Whitby with wheels expect steps! Good light to say it’s the lower level. Good storage and furniture in room. Was impressed to have a fridge and freezer in there. Had everything we needed to cater for our 1 year old daughter. We didn’t use the travel cot but was nice to have had the option.

Could here guests above very loudly walking around. The bar could be raised considerably with the cleanliness of the place. It was acceptable to the point where we were only really sleeping there. Lots of cobwebs, dust and smelled a little damp on bedding and towels. We did request access to cleaning cupboard just to hoover and re wash dishes but the owner did come and do it herself which we greatly appreciated.

Property was close to the front. Clean and tidy, great for. Few days unless your eating out at all times

Noisy from upstairs

Great value for money. Great location. Very helpful and responsive owner.

Shower not very powerful. Height doesn't give much room to stand.

Great little place. Great location but quiet & cozy.

No proper cooking facilities poor bathing shower didn’t work even it I’d did my husband couldn’t stand up to have one. Very low ceiling in bedroom area he had to have his head bent at all times. Couldn’t acres wardrobe properly as bed was blocking acces. Overall very disappointing

Side gate very stiff had problems, tried phoning no kept cutting out , light not working small entrance , plumbing very noisy when water draining out of bath, no proper facilities for washing mugs ect, disturbing thro night lights from traffic shining thro windows above beds & noisy

Great location and lovely room. Ceilings are low but not a problem for us short people. Beds really comfy. I liked how you could use the Netflix on TV. Would defo stay again

People walking round upstairs at 6am in morning. Didn't spoil our stay though.

Good location

There was damp in the apartment and patches of mould. The dehumidifier ran constantly and we emptied it twice in a two night stay. The inside of the dehumidifier was mouldy. The beds felt damp especially the day it rained. We were warned that some areas of the property had restricted head height in reality it’s 3/4 of the available space. My 10 year old couldn’t even stand up in the shower. You can’t use the bathroom when anyone else is sleeping as the water is pumped out and the pump is very noisy. The steps into the property are uneven and very slippery especially if it’s wet outside. The wires behind the tv were dangerous. All the plates were dirty on our arrival. Higher restrictions should be in advertisement when it’s so much of the property.

Very good however no toaster that we could see? Other than that very good, even had milk in fridge and biscuits provided, lovely lady too x
