Humphries Cross Apartments

Lovely stay at Humphries Cross apartments, welcome pack of eggs, milk etc, amazing grounds to walk around, great hosts

The entire place was smashing. Wonderful location, walking distance to Rye and Iden, and it had really decent facilities. Very clean and well equipped with all your essential utensils, and then some. A welcome bowl to die for, if you love chocolatey snacks and energy bars. Wonderfully decorated, very homely and comfortable and despite it's location, feels remote. We enjoyed walking out the back gate by the water tower and ranging off. A great experience overall. Would definitely stay again!

No fault to the owners: It was very hot when we stayed and upstairs only has one window. It was stiflingly hot up there... We only went upstairs 3 times for very brief durations, but otherwise looked lovely. I can imagine it being brilliant otherwise. Downstairs however is a smashing space. I didn't realise that we would be greeted by a host, the owner. Some people love that, I personally never want to interact with anyone... It's part of the reason we rented an apartment. No offence. Apologies, introverts. Lastly, the mattress. For whatever the reason, it is really sagging and a bit knackered on the right hand side (nearest the ensuite)... I had several nearly rolling out of bed moments that I really didn't like. WiFi was only adequate, at best... Poor streaming experience.

Peace & quiet above all, easy free parking; Everything immaculate & clean; A good nearby supermarket recommended by hosts; A generous fruit platter & bottle of good Prosecco Having 2 floors

Very little. These are just suggestions. Possibly a salad washer and salad servers could be useful but not essential If the upstairs sofa were convertible to a bed it might be useful for a separate sleeping option

This is our 4th time staying at Humphries Cross apartments it is always 10/10

Very pretty, well equipped apartment, in beautiful grounds. A lovely welcome ‘pack’ incl milk, eggs and delicious mixed fruit bowl. Lucy & Stuart have provided so many thoughtful touches to ensure an enjoyable stay.
